This membrane roof and HVAC replacement project required the removal and replacement of the existing roof membrane and replacement of two existing Bryant HVAC units over the bowling alley portion of the building. Cerrudo installed approximately 8,900 SF of new ¼” roof cover board and white Dura-Last 60 mil PVC reinforced roofing membrane and base flashing (Areas 1 through 5). New metal ‘L’ flashing was installed around the perimeter of Area 4 to prevent further deterioration of the existing roof deck. Approximately 1,000 LF of new running seamless gutters and downspouts were provided.
The existing HVAC units above the bowling alley in Area 2 were replaced with new units containing R-22 refrigerant. The existing unit’s refrigerant was properly recovered and all oils evacuated. New shut off valves, flexible gas lines, and necessary fittings were installed. Propane was supplied to the new units. New electrical disconnect switches for the units were installed.
160 LF of new five-foot-high equipment screening was installed at the front side of the building.
