Cerrudo Services provided the design and construction for the galley at Station Bodega Bay.  The design utilized the equipment that the Coast Guard had previously purchased and stored.  The new commercial kitchen is capable of preparing meals for up to 35 people.  The scope of work included:

  • New stainless steel casework, countertops, backsplash and storage components, and new freezer storage.
  • New hand wash sink, faucet and accessories including garbage disposal.
  • Reconfiguration of existing interior doors, windows and walls to increase efficiency of circulation, allow the operation of a serving line and provide adequate prep area.
  • New floor and wall tile.
  • Plumbing, mechanical, fire protection and electrical work required for a code compliant kitchen.

Cerrudo removed and disposed of all existing kitchen equipment, furnishings, flooring and finishes. The Government furnished exhaust hood included an integrated fire suppression system.  A new panelboard was installed to accommodate the increased electrical loads required by the new equipment.  The existing sewer pipe was replaced and extended.  All Government furnished appliances needed to be converted to propane use.
