Cerrudo Services constructed a new ground up fire fighting facility at a remote, undisturbed forest location.  This facility consists of slab-on-grade wood frame buildings including barracks quarters, office/administration facilities and an apparatus/shop building requiring a new utility infrastructure.

The project owner requested considerable changes to the design of the facility 60 days into construction including additional support structures, additions to the original designed structures and alterations to underground utilities services.  Cerrudo removed and re-routed utility lines that had already been placed and re-configured new utility lines that had yet to be placed with those that were to remain unchanged.

Cerrudo was able to continue interior work activities throughout the winter months.  With the return of favorable weather, site activities were resumed including utilities, concrete walks and slabs and asphalt paving.  Equipment was installed including a 2,000 gallon fuel tank, a 20,500 gallon water storage tank, a fire suppression system pump, an electrical system back-up generator and a domestic water pump system.
