Cerrudo Services was the prime contractor for the renovation of a 4,665 SF portion of the 3rd floor, Building 2145, including construction of five new classrooms.  The scope of work included demolition of existing walls, new gypsum board faced walls and demountable classroom partitions, replacement of ceiling tiles and carpeting, fire alarm and fire sprinkler relocation and addition, HVAC relocation, lighting relocation and new electrical and telecommunication outlets.

Building 2145 is a SCIF (sensitive compartmental information facility).  Barriers were installed to segregate construction workers from operational activities and to provide protection against unauthorized access and visual observation to secured building areas.  All workers and work were under the visual observation of Government escorts.  Electronic devices including cameras, cell phones, GPS devices and radios were prohibited in the building.
